Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data ADDSEY collects, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected. Please read it carefully before using the platform.
1. Who We Are
Addsey ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI business phone system that lets users place and receive calls, send and receive SMS, and run an AI voice agent on a prepaid credit wallet. Our website is addsey.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the data required to operate the platform: • Account data: email address and hashed password when you register. • Telephony data: phone numbers you provision or forward, call metadata (time, duration, direction, caller/called number), call recordings and transcripts where enabled, and SMS message content and threads. • Contact data: numbers and names of the people you call or text, and their opt-in/opt-out status. • Transaction data: wallet balances, top-up amounts, and usage charges. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; Bitcoin deposits are recorded as on-chain amounts and USD-equivalent values. • Verification data: business registration documents and caller-ID name requests you submit for review. • Technical data: server logs, IP addresses, and browser information collected automatically for security and diagnostics. We do not store full payment card numbers — card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your Addsey account and phone numbers. • Place and receive calls and SMS on your behalf through our telephony provider. • Operate your AI agent, including transcription, call summaries, and escalation. • Process wallet top-ups and meter call/SMS usage against your balance. • Review business-verification and caller-ID name requests. • Send transactional emails such as low-balance alerts and password resets. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access. • Comply with legal obligations, including telecom and consumer-protection rules. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
4. Call Recording & Transcription
Where you enable recording, calls handled through Addsey may be recorded and transcribed to provide summaries, logging, and quality features. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required in your and your callers' jurisdictions. Addsey provides configurable recording-consent disclosures — including an audible disclosure defaulted on for two-party-consent regions — but you remain responsible for lawful use. Recordings and transcripts are stored securely and access-logged.
5. Third-Party Services
Addsey integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies: • Twilio — telephony (voice, SMS, number provisioning, caller-ID/CNAM). • Our AI voice provider — real-time speech and language processing for the agent. • Flutterwave — card payment processing for wallet top-ups. • CoinGecko — live BTC/USD price feed. No personal data is sent to CoinGecko. • Vercel — hosting and serverless infrastructure. • Tawk.to — live chat support widget (may set its own session cookies). We are not responsible for the independent data practices of these third parties.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard safeguards including: • TLS encryption for all data in transit. • Hashed (bcrypt) passwords — we never store plaintext credentials. • Encryption at rest for sensitive tokens and verification documents. • Role-based access controls limiting staff access to production data. • Automatic session expiry and secure, HttpOnly cookies. • No private key storage — we never request, receive, or store Bitcoin private keys. No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at support@addsey.com.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account, call, and message data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. Call recordings, transcripts, and usage records may be retained for up to 24 months to support billing, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Correct inaccurate data. • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"). • Restrict or object to certain processing. • Receive a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@addsey.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
ADDSEY is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 18 has created an account, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the dashboard. Continued use of ADDSEY after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
